Alex - Character Concept

I'm so happy to finally be posting my character project "Alex" which I've been working on during my final term at university. For this particular project, I worked in the style of The Last of Us by Naughty Dog to create a character concept for a London based game.

Alex's character would be a companion to the main protagonist set in a post-apocolytpic open world game, during which you would assist her through part of her journey from Westminster Station to Edinburgh in hopes to reunite with her family.

"Alex is a natural independent survivalist in her twenties and doesn't stay in the same location for too long. Having nowhere to call home would be saddening to some, but Alex knows relocating is the key to staying alive. She knows the underground system like the back of her hand, making it easy to travel between different areas for supplies."

I thoroughly enjoyed creating Alex, I learnt so many new painting techniques while painting her portrait. I look forward to creating further character concepts!
